For all those asking, yes, I am yet to recover from May 28th 2011. Yes, that loss is still painful and yes, I do not think it is about to go away anytime soon :'( Anyway, let's leave that aside for a while. So today I woke up and started watching cartoons (I really do not think I am cut out for this whole working business) just to start off my day. Then it hit me. A revelation so powerful it can change the world if made public. I could not believe it myself. Its holds such magnitude that........ Hahahaha, okay, just felt like being a lil dramatic. Seriously though, I discovered this. Apart from FOOTBALL and music, the one other thing that makes me happy is CARTOONS :D
I love cartoons so much I can spend a whole day in the house watching them (as long as there is ice cream and crisps). I do not believe you are ever too old for cartoons (look at Walt Disney). Which reminds me, I didn't know Disney was a person. I thought it was just a name like Cartoon Network. Anyway, God bless his soul for gifting the world with such a legacy (despite the paedophilia and Illuminati rumours). If you were still alive I would thank you by stalking you (do not be lied to, these famous people like it).
Now seeing as I am such an ardent cartoon fan, I of course do have my favourites (which if you disagree with you can go die :p) Here goes nothing.........
1. EMPEROR'S NEW SCHOOL
I will not even say that this is MY favourite cartoon of all time. No. This is the BEST cartoon ever created (or at least it should be). Simply saying I love this cartoon is an understatement (some of my friends still call me Kuzco). I believe that whoever created Kuzco is a freaking genius, only second to J. K. Rowling and the person who invented sliced bread. He is like the ultimate human/cartoon being. I love his arrogance and well.... Just about everything about him. He should be immortalised or even canonised and declared a saint (okay, so maybe that is a bit overboard but you get the sentiments). Kronk makes the show soo cool and is almost half as stupid as Kuzco. Malina completes this amazing creation (oh, and Yzma/Amzy). Disney should take their 60-episode rule and shove it. Bring back Kuzco!!! (I am gonna start a movement). As one of my friends likes saying, I LOVE IT! I LOVE IT!
2. KIM POSSIBLE
"I'm your basic average girl, and I am here to save the world. You can't stop me cz I am K.I.M P.O.S.S.I.B.L.E. There is nothing I can't do and when danger calls just know that I am on my way........" One of my favourite cartoon sound tracks. I love this cartoon cz for once it does not portray a hot girl (yes, even in cartoon form, Kim is HOT) in a negative light. Oh plus I love Ron. His stupidity is unrivaled (okay, maybe my neighbour gets a bit close). And Shego (I actually used to think its Shiku and started wondering if Walt had Kenyan roots :o) and Dr. Drakken are quite possibly the most mismatched villain pair but they make for good tv. Senor Senior Jr makes me too happy because he is soo gay (oh yes he is). And her twin brothers Jim and Tim provide great laughs along with Rufus who is soo cool for a hairless whatever-he-is. It is no wonder it is the longest-running full-length Disney Original Series to date. This is where I got my sign off, BOOYAH!
3. PHINEAS AND FERB
"There's 104 days of summer vacation and school comes along just to end it. So the annual problem for our generation is finding a good way to spend it. Like maybe......" Here is where most of you insert drinking, partying etc. But Phineas and Ferb do it all. I can see most of you nodding because to date I am yet to find a single person who does not like this cartoon. Heck even my folks and aunts watch it and with no apologies, at that (though some quickly change the channel when they hear footsteps). Phineas talks a lot but I like Ferb. He is the silent mastermind behind everything (plus the fact that he is British is a huge plus). I always say that if I had a British accent, I would NEVER, and I mean EVER, stop talking. Candace, always trying to bust them is soo funny especially cz it always fails and the episode ends with Ferb actually talking! Dan Povenmire and Jeff 'Swampy' Marsh should be given a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame (would have been put to better use than giving Miley Cyrus). Plus I love the whole mixed family vibe it gives out. Totally original. Perry is like the freshest platypus ever (not that I know that many...... Or any. At all). He has this cool aura about him, like the cool kids in school :) "Doofenshmirtz Evil Inc. *insert tune used*"
Those are just my top 3. There are other great cartoons like Dexter's Laboratory. This was actually my first favourite cartoon (if that makes sense). When I grew up, I wanted to be like Dexter (maybe I did achieve it, GEEK) hahaha. I also love oldies like The Jetsons and The Flintstones. I still maintain the latter is one of the best animations to grace our screens. Barney is too stupid to hate. I also looove Scooby Doo (okay, who does not). He and Shaggy probably have the best side-kick relationship in cartoon history. Ooooh, and how could I possibly forget Courage the Cowardly Dog. This cartoon is too cool. Eustace and Courage? Bad idea but great entertainment :) Two Stupid Dogs is also an all time favourite despite people not liking it. There is no such thing as a stupid cartoon, as most describe it, unless of course yo talking about Chowder (this thing should be BANNED).
We all love cartoons. Of course we all have different tastes and prefernces but as long as you watch them *hi-five* You and I can get along sooo well. Cartoons bring joy to the world (unless you are too much of a sadist to enjoy them in which case please go jump off a cliff).
Oh, and before I forget, thank you for all the e-mails I have been receiving. I really appreciate all your comments and feedback but I do this for fun, not for any other reason. It is just a past-time, no commercial motives attached. And if you have any complaints whatsoever, please do not hesitate. Feel free to keep them to yourself or air them out to your image in a mirror :p The photo says it all (you gotta agree, it is hilarious :D)

you have the same liking i have with cartoons esp kim pssible and kussco (dont think thats the spelling ) + ferb OMG .. CARTOONS ARE JUST AWESOME
